"So....", Donna repeated again.

Josh smiled. "This is a first."

"What is?", Donna looked confused. It seemed
like today was a first for so many things.

"Donnatella Moss at a loss for words."

"Hey!", She gave him casual punch in the arm.

It caused Josh to take a step back and she
imediately regretted making such a friendly gesture. She felt
strange touching him now. In any way. Because each time she did
there was an electricity. If it was always there it was never
acknowledged but now....Now it was undeniable.

"Look Donna, I really don't want what
happened....what we did....to change things between us.", Josh spoke
up.

"Oh Josh ofcourse it won't! I mean who the
hell even remembers it anyway!", Donna put on a fake bright smile.

Josh was relieved Donna was willing to put on
the charade of normalcy but part of him wanted her to do something,
say something.

"Right, I mean come on...you and
me...doing.....that! You have to laugh."

"Exactly. Plus I bet it wasn't even any
good.", She instantly wanted to take those words back. She meant it
as a joke. As an attempt to banter.

Josh gave her a small smirk and raised his
eyebrows. "Really Donna? You don't think it was any good?"

"I don't remeber Josh. You know that."

"Donna do you know who I am? I am Josh
Lyman! Josh Lyman and NO GOOD have never ever been used in the same
sentence!

Donna rolled her eyes. This was the Josh
she knew and loved.

"Josh, you were pretty drunk. I'm surprised
you even could...." Donna laughed she was egging him on.

"Donna the day I can't.....will be the day I
say goodbye to this world."

"Your an idiot."

"That's not what you said last night."

Donna's face turned beet red.

"EXCUSE ME?"

"You heard me Donna. In fact I bet the whole
neighborhood heard you. You were kind of loud.", Josh knew he was
getting to her and he liked it.

Donna wanted to hit him. "Josh! It's time
for me to go now."

"Your not leaving." Josh said defiantly.

"What?!" Donna couldn't believe he said that.

"Your not leaving."

"Why?"

"Because this needs to be straighted out now
otherwise it will be even more awkward and weird tomorrow."

Donna sighed. She didn't want it to be any
worse then it was right now.

"What do you want me to do Josh?"

"Do you remember anything?"

"Not really."

"Well I do." Josh looked her right in the
eye.

"You Do?", Donna was skeptical.

" I do."

"So....do you feel like sharing?"

"Donna, do you remember this?" Josh moved
closer to Donna. He was inches away from her. The heat between them
was intense.

"Josh.."

He leaned down and kissed her long and hard.

Donna pulled away. She knew it felt right.
She knew that this was all she ever wanted. The passion they had was
so intense she really couldn't think straight.

"Josh I think you just made it worse!"

Josh smiled amazed at his feelings.

"No Donna I think I just made it better."
