Every head turned to look as the strains of
Mendelssohn's Wedding March begun to play. Gina and
Donna were the first down the aisle. Then CJ and her
father came.
As he watched her coming down the aisle toward him,
Toby thought "She looks beautiful, no actually she
looks more than beautiful. The dress totally suits
her and her style. It's not flashy. Hold on a
minute, her hair pinned up. It's the first time I've
ever seen it like that. I'll have to remember to tell
her I like it like that." He realized that she was
smiling at him and he smiled back. Then they reached
him. Her father kissed her cheek, and then placed her
hand in Toby's.
From the moment she had started to walk down the
aisle, CJ had seen only Toby. She wondered what he
was thinking as she walked to him. She saw him
looking at the dress. She thought for a moment of all
the discussions they had over the dress, and smiled.
He smiled back, and then they were there. She felt
her father kiss her cheek and then he took her hand
and placed it in Toby's. She knew then that she was
were she belonged. And that it was very likely that
she would be unable to remember a moment of the
wedding. She heard the justice of the peace speak,
and she tried to turn her attention to what he was
saying. She couldn't though, she was too focused on
Toby. She heard the man start to say the traditional
wedding vows and she repeated them.
Toby's attention was on CJ, not on the justice of the
peace. He smiled when she hesitated speaking, for just
a moment. He knew that she was paying no more
attention to the man than he was. He smiled at her as
she was saying her vows. Then he noticed the justice
of the peace turn to him. He repeated the vows that CJ
had just said.
Sam got the rings from his pocket when it was time.
He handed one to CJ and one to Toby. They exchanged
the rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. The
justice of the peace then laughed and said you may
kiss the bride. Toby drew CJ closer to him and kissed
her gently.

"We're really married now." CJ said softly to Toby.
They were in the limousine going to the reception.
"Yes we are." Toby said. "Have I told you how
beautiful you look today?"
"No."
"You look very beautiful today."
"You haven't said anything about the dress, yet."
"Are you fishing for a compliment?" Toby laughed.
"No, it's just you've teased me so much about this
dress. And I want to know what you think of it?"
"I love it. I still think that if I had seen the
magazine I could have picked out the one you chose."
Toby laughed.
"Probably."
"I thought so too. You should wear your hair up more
often."
"You like it like this?"
"Yes, I do. You could wear it that way for the
inauguration."
"Yes, I could."
"Have I told you that I love you?"
"No Mr. Ziegler you haven't."
"I love you Mrs. Ziegler."
"I love you too." CJ said just before she kissed
him.

"Okay, may I have everyone's attention please." Sam
said.
"Sam and I would like to jointly propose a toast to
the newly married couple." Josh said.
"We've worked closely with both of you for nearly
five years." Sam said.
"And we consider both of you friends. Even if one of
you does not want any nice gesture mistaken for
friendship." Josh said.
"If the two of you could hurry this along that would
be nice. I would like to dance with my wife a couple
of times." Toby said.
CJ whispered to Toby. "It wouldn't hurt you to be a
little nicer to them."
"Yes, it would." Toby whispered back to her.
"Why?"
"Sam almost lost the wedding rings today."
"What?!"
"Apparently Josh took them from Sam because he
thought Sam might lose them. But he forgot to inform
me of this. So they are lucky that I didn't kill them
today."
"If the two of you quit whispering, we'll finish
this." Sam said.
"Okay, since it appears that our interruptions are
over, we'll continue. CJ, Toby you are much better
together than you are apart." Josh said.
"And we wish you all the happiness in the world." Sam
finished.
"Thank you." CJ said.
"Now I'm thinking that since Toby wants to dance with
his wife that we should let him." Jed said.
"That sounds like a good idea. May I have this
dance, Mrs. Ziegler?" Toby said, standing up and
holding his hand to CJ.
"Yes, you may, Mr. Ziegler." CJ said as she got up
and took his hand.
They walked to the dance floor hand in hand. When
they reached the floor, Toby took CJ into his arms and
they begun to dance.

It was nearly one o'clock in the morning when CJ and
Toby reached the hotel in San Francisco where they
would be spending their honeymoon.
"What I requested is here?" CJ heard Toby ask the
bellboy as he tipped him for carrying the luggage up
to the room.
"Yes sir. Will that be all sir?"
"Yes, thank you."
"What was that all about?" CJ asked as she walked
behind him and put her arms around him.
"You'll see." Toby replied as her put this arm
around her waist. He then reached for a remote which
was on the table, and he hit play.
