Charlie pressed play on the VCR and then walked back to the couch to
snuggle with Zoey. She smiled and curled up into his chest as he grabbed the
remote and started to fast-forward through the trailers.

“What are you thinking?” She asked softly. He looked into her eyes and
then back at the TV screen.

“I’m thinking that they put way too many of these things on videos
nowadays.” He muttered. She laughed and slapped his chest playfully.

“No. . .What else are you thinking?” She asked softly.

“I was thinking that today was a good day, and it felt good to see everyone
so happy. I was thinking I like holding you in my arms and watching videos with
you. I was thinking that I love you.” Charlie replied softly as he looked back into
her eyes. She smiled and kissed him gently.

“I love you too, Charlie.” She whispered. He smiled and held her closer.

“I’m glad. It feels good to hear that.” He told her. She smiled and nodded.

“You’re right it does.” She murmured. “You know something?”

“What’s that?” He asked.

“I walked into the Oval office the other day and found my parents making
out.” Zoey said with a weak smile. “I teased them about it, but the truth is that I’m
happy for them. I hope that one day, thirty-five years from now, I’ll be that close
with my husband.” She added, a special twinkle in her eye. Charlie recognized the
twinkle and nodded.

“I hope so too.” He whispered.

David muttered as he stared at the computer screen. Ginger sighed and
moved into the room. She walked up behind him and started to gently massage
his shoulders. He groaned and leaned back into her touch.

“Tell me you’re not working.” She warned him playfully.

“I’m not working.” He assured her. “I’m trying to answer this email from my
sister.” He muttered. “But the computer is acting very slow just to annoy me.” He
added. Ginger laughed.

“Then come and sit on the couch and talk to me.” She said as she reached
forward and switched the screen off. “Come on.” She said as she grabbed his
hand and pulled him towards the living room.

“I guess my sister can wait until tomorrow.” He consented with a smirk.
Ginger laughed again.

“I’m sure she’d love to hear you say so.” She cooed before pulling him on
to the couch and cuddling into his side. He smiled and slipped his arms around
her. They stared into each other’s eyes for a moment before kissing gently and
snuggling into the couch.

“Isn’t it amazing that we should get together after our bosses do?” David
asked softly. Ginger chuckled.

“I know. You think it means something?” She asked.

“I have no idea. I hope that it means we’ll be as happy together as they
are.” He murmured as he kissed her forehead.

“David, I think I can say this with all assurances: you make me very happy,
but I don’t base the scale of my relationships on Toby Ziegler’s successes.” She
teased back. “In the long run, I’m very content to be right here in your arms.” She
added softly.

“And I’m very happy to hold you here.” He replied softly.

“Mal?” Sam called as he moved from the living room to the kitchen of his
apartment. Mallory was pouring a glass of wine for him, hers already full. She
turned to him and smiled.

“Hey you.” She said softly as he moved forward to take the glass from her
outstretched hand.

“How you feeling?” He asked with a smile.

“Better, thanks to you.” Mal replied before taking a sip from her glass.

“Aren’t we drunk enough already?” Sam teased as he sipped the wine and
then kissed her neck.

“No, I don’t think so.” Mal murmured as she leaned into him.

“What does that mean?” He asked softly as he kissed down her neck. She
made a soft sound and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“It means I love you, Sam.” She whispered before kissing him fiercely. He
kissed back, putting the wine glasses on the counter and slipping his arms
around her. When they pulled apart he stared into her eyes and smiled.

“I love you, Mallory.” He whispered. She smiled and kissed him again, her
hands trailing down the front of his shirt. She spread his shirt apart and ran her
hands over his smooth chest. He stared at her incredulously and then kissed her
again, gathering her in his arms.

“I still don’t know why you hit me today.” Josh whined. Donna laughed and
put another glass into the dishwasher. He rubbed the back of his head and
watched her lean over to push the lower drawer in. “Let me just say, you look
wonderful in tight jeans.”

“Josh!” Donna said with another laugh as she closed the dishwasher. He
grinned and moved to slip his hands around her waist. She leaned back into him
and washed her hands in the sink.

“I’m just stating the obvious.” He murmured before kissing her neck. “Very
nice view.” He added.

“Josh, are you getting frisky again?” Donna said softly as she leaned into
him some more.

“You know it babe.” He whispered in her ear.

“Today was a really good day.” Donna said softly. Josh nodded and rested
his chin on her shoulder.

“It really was. It was fun to see everyone relax for a change, and I never
knew the guys could dance. Toby’s not half bad.” He said with a smile as he
rocked her gently.

“You on the other hand.” Donna started to tease.

“Hey, play nice.” Josh said in a mock whine as he spun her in his arms and
kissed her gently. She smiled and kissed him back.

“I wouldn’t dream of it.” She murmured before they kissed again.

“Jeri, taste this for me.” Leo said as he offered the wooden spoon forward.
Jeri stared at the spoon in playful suspicion. “Come on, try it. It won’t kill you.” He
urged. She laughed.

“How do I know you’re not using me as a taste-tester?” She teased before
tasting the tomato sauce that he offered forward.

“I am.” He replied sweetly. “What do you think?”

“Need more oregano.” She teased.

“I thought so too.” Leo muttered. “I can’t ever get these things right.”

“Nothing’s perfect, Leo.” Jeri retorted as she walked to the spice cabinet
and grabbed the bottle of oregano. They were in her kitchen, trying to make a
decent batch of Italian pasta with Leo’s attempted tomato sauce that had a flair to
it that Jed Bartlet always enjoyed.

“Oh, but this has to be.” He retorted with a grin.

“Oh, does it?” She asked playfully.

“Yes, it’s going to be eaten by the first family.” He pointed out.

“Oh, don’t remind me.” She murmured.

“You still daunted by it?” He teased.

“Yes, I’m still daunted by it.” She retorted in a sharp but playful tone. Leo
smiled and took her in his arms.

“Don’t worry. You’ll be fine.” He assured her and then kissed her gently.
She kissed him back and nodded.

“Besides, I still have a few secrets up my sleeve. I can knock you off your
feet any minute.” She cooed before moving out of his arms.

“What does that mean?” Leo asked in confusion. “What aren’t you telling
me?” He asked in a playful whine.

“Oh, Leo. Don’t whine. It’s a disturbing thing coming from people our age.”
Jeri teased. Leo smirked.

“And what age would that be?”

“I’m sure I have no idea. Try the sauce.”

“Danny, what are you doing?” CJ called from the hallway.

“Don’t come out yet!” He called.

“I’m not coming out yet. I just want to know what you’re doing.” CJ
retorted. Danny chuckled as he lit a candle.

“I’m not going to tell you what I’m doing.” He said triumphantly.

“That’s no fun.” CJ muttered and sniffed deeply. “Smells good whatever it
is.” She added.

“No smelling either.” Danny called.

“What, you want me to plug my nose and ears and close my eyes? I’ll
suffocate.” CJ retorted.

“No, you can breathe through your mouth.” He assured her.

“Danny, may I please come into my own living room?” CJ pleaded.

“No, Claudia Jean.” Danny retorted playfully. “Wait just one more minute.
I’m almost ready. I promise.”

“You’re acting like a child, Danny.” CJ warned.

“So are you, CJ. We’re perfect company.” Danny said as he walked up to
her with a grin.

“I’m not acting like a child.” CJ protested.

“Oh, hush. Now close your eyes.” He said softly.

“Do I have to?” She asked.

“Yes. Come on, CJ. Humor me.” He pleaded. She smiled and closed her
eyes. He smiled and put his hands over her eyes before leading her through the
living room to the dining room to help her sit at the table. He took his hands off
her eyes and stood next to her. She opened her eyes and gasped as she saw the
elegant dinner setup that he’d prepared. A covered plate sat in front of her,
waiting for Danny to lift it away.

“Oh, Danny, this is beautiful.” She whispered. Danny smiled and lifted the
lid off the plate. In the center of the plate, a small black box waited for CJ to pick it
up. She looked at him with a tear in her eye. He smiled again and got on one knee,
reaching for the box and holding it out to her.

“I thought I should do this the right way.” He said softly as he opened the
box and presented the ring to her. “Claudia Jean Cregg, will you please do me the
honor of becoming my wife?” He asked softly. She smiled at him and nodded, the
tear rolling down her face. He smiled, sliding the ring on her finger before
standing to kiss the tear away. “Thank God.” He murmured as he kissed her
forehead. CJ laughed lightly.

“Oh, Danny. Sit down. Let’s enjoy this beautiful meal.” She encouraged. He
nodded and moved to sit on the opposite side of the table.

“Jed?” Abbey asked as she straightened the top of her nightgown and
walked into the bedroom she shared with the man she loved. Jed looked at her
from his stance at the window and grinned, whistling a soft catcall. Abbey shook
her head as she grinned and approached him. He took her in his arms and kissed
her forehead.

“Today was a good day.” He whispered.

“Yeah, it was.” She agreed as she leaned into him. “They looked so happy
up there.” She added.

“You were so beautiful today. Then again, you’re always beautiful.” Jed
added as he kissed her neck. Abbey smiled and hugged him close, wrapping her
arms around his neck.

“I love you, even if you are always . . . how shall I say it, affectionate.” She
murmured.

“You love it and you know it.” Jed cooed.

“God, the way you’re acting, it’s as if it’s our wedding night all over again.”
She murmured as his hands roamed across her body and his lips moved up her
neck. He grinned at her and nodded.

“Now there’s an idea.” He whispered before pushing her backwards
towards the bed.

KD slipped under the covers and stared at her husband as he slept. The
gentle rocking of the cruise ship was a good lullaby, and he seemed to be
sleeping soundly despite his first bout of seasickness. Still, they had a nice
honeymoon planned. KD smiled and snuggled into his arms. Toby opened his
eyes weakly as he felt her cuddle into his bare chest. He held her close and kissed
her forehead. She smiled and looked into his eyes.

“You’re not supposed to be awake.” She murmured. He smiled and held
her closer.

“Neither are you.” He whispered before kissing her gently.

“I had to go to the bathroom.” She admitted before kissing him back
repeatedly. Toby grinned and rolled on top of her. She smiled widely as he kissed
her neck.

“Again?” He murmured.

“Hey, I’ve only gone about . . . twelve times since we got here.” She teased
as she tickled his ears. He smiled and kissed her gently.

“Maybe we should call a doctor.” He said softly before kissing her jaw.

“Well, I was thinking about that, Toby.” She said softly as she held him
closely. “And I realized that we might have to.” He stopped and looked in her
eyes, his own filled with concern.

“What do you mean?” He asked in worry. She smiled at him and kissed him
gently, shaking her head.

“It’s not that.” She murmured. “I just have been noticing a few things
lately.” He frowned.

“Like what things?” He asked softly as he rolled to her side and held her
close. She smiled and fingered his facial features.

“Um, well, the bathroom thing, the fact that I’ve really hating the smell of
meat and things cooking.” She started to ramble.

“Um, Katy, what are you saying?” Toby asked gently.

“Toby, I think I’m pregnant.” KD whispered to him, staring into his eyes.
